Favicon Downloader
Paste a website address and get every icon it uses. That includes the classic favicon.ico, PNG icons in all sizes, the Apple touch icon, the SVG icon and the icons from the web app manifest. Download the one you need, or all of them in a single ZIP.

A second later you see the list of icons, each with its format and real size:

Where do the icons come from?
A site can declare its icon in several places, so we check all of them:
- The
<link rel="icon">andshortcut icontags in the page - Apple touch icons for iPhone and iPad home screens
- The Safari pinned tab SVG (mask-icon)
- Icons listed in the web app manifest
- /favicon.ico at the site root, even when the page does not mention it
- Icons embedded right in the page as data: URIs
The size shown is read from the file itself, not from what the HTML claims. If a site lists the same file twice, you see it once.
What sizes and formats will I get?
Whatever the site has. Usually that is 16×16 and 32×32 for the browser tab, 180×180 for the Apple touch icon, and 192×192 and 512×512 for Android. Formats are ICO, PNG and SVG, sometimes WebP or GIF.
One .ico file often holds several sizes at once. We list every size inside it.
Who needs this?
- Developers checking how a site set up its icons
- Designers who need a logo for a mockup or a presentation
- Anyone building a bookmark page, a dashboard or a list of links
- SEO people checking which icon Google can show next to a result
Why did it find no icons?
Some sites block automated requests, and some are simply down. Others really have no favicon, and the browser shows a generic one. If you are sure the site has an icon, try the full address, for example https://www.example.com.
Is it free?
Yes. No sign-up, no limits, no ads. We don’t store the icons you download.
Can I get icons from many sites at once?
Not yet; it works one site at a time. If you need all the images of a page rather than its icon, use the website image downloader. To save the whole page, use URL Download.
Copyright
A favicon is usually a logo, and logos are trademarks. It’s fine to use one to point to the site it belongs to, for example in bookmarks, link lists or a mockup. Don’t use it as your own brand, and download only images you have the rights to use.
